| I "Felt" |

24 Mar
In a world where everything zooms past you at an astounding speed, there’s often a lack of sensitivity – a sensitivity for something deep within us. A peace that comes with a calm contentment and a great joy that bubbles over. I only just realised that a few years ago. No matter how much I searched for this feeling in the physical or material, only God and our Lord Jesus could offer this to me – and all for free.  I gave nothing for He first loved me – unconditionally.
Have you stopped your life in your tracks and truly searched your hearts to see if you have been entirely honest with yourself? Do you truly feel? Or is everyday spent in mostly a rush of mixed emotions?

“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.” – Psalm 23:2

| Seek Ye First |

21 Mar
Awoke this morning with these 3 words ringing in my ears again: Seek Ye First.
Seek – what attitude do I have when I come before the Almighty? Am I too casual? Yes He is a friend, but He is also to be revered and worshiped. Am I seeking or do I take Him for granted. Prayer is a privilege, not a burden, nor a tool.
Ye – Who or What do I seek? Treasures of this earth that will be eaten by moths or die away? Even my physical body or gifts I think I am blessed with… these are nothing compared to His glory. To Him.
First – What are my priorities? Is it Him or is it something else or someone else. First, not second, not later. Now and First.
Faith is a seemingly obscure element, much like the word “Believe”, but it can grow. How do you nurture it? From a mustard seed, a tree can grow. Have faith in your faith, and water it well.
Mustard Seed of Faith Brooch – $24.

Lovingly made of wooden branch sections and a bit of plastic.

“I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
– Matthew 17:20
